The purpose of the paper is to model the termoluminescence glow curves of trapping centers in undoped and La-doped zinc crystals by means of techniques from multilayered perceptrons and genetic algorithms domains. One presents the experimental details as well as the proposed neural network architecture -- a three layered MLP, four inputs and one output- and training algorithm. Further, there is a discussion on the obtained results.
