The results of calculations of the groups \(H^ n(L_ 1)\), \(n=3,4\), for the standard nilpotent subalgebra \(L_ 1\) of the Witt algebra \(W_ 1\) over a field of characteristic p are given: dim \(H^ 3(L_ 1)=8\) (p\(\geq 17)\), dim \(H^ 4(L_ 1)=15\) (p\(\geq 29)\). The basic cocycles are found.
