The famous Lebesgue covering theorem [see \textit{J. L. Kelley}, General topology (1955; Zbl 0066.166)] and a useful completeness theorem of \textit{P. Fletcher} and \textit{W. F. Lindgren} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 39, 397-405 (1972; Zbl 0203.556)] are extended to relator spaces, which are generalized uniform spaces lacking all the axioms of uniform spaces except the reflexivity of the corresponding relations.
