This paper explores a notion of modal theory (for first-order languages) in which the axioms and even the language itself may vary over possible worlds. A deductive system, based on the minimal system K, which allows such variation is defined and proved to be consistent and complete, using Henkin-style techniques. Extension of this approach to other modal systems (e.g., T, S.4, etc.) is also suggested.
