The paper contains duality results for a pair of symmetric nonlinear programming problems involving semilocally pseudoconvex/semilocally pseudoconcave functions. The authors claim that these generalize similar results obtained by \textit{M. S. Bazaraa} and \textit{J. J. Goode} [Oper. Res. 21, 1-9 (1973; Zbl 0259.90034)] and \textit{M. S. Mishra}, the second author and \textit{D. Acharya} [Aust. Math. Soc., Ser. B 27, 238-244 (1985; Zbl 0584.90087)]. The paper is not free from some notational errors.
