The authors study topological and tiling properties of a family of self-affine fractal tiles with a real parameter \(\varepsilon\). Both interior and boundary structures are discussed. Moreover, connectedness and tiling properties of the tile \(T_\varepsilon\) are proved to be dependent upon \(\varepsilon\).
