The fundamental group and Galois coverings of hexagonal systems in 3-space (Q2644150)

In this paper the authors consider hexagonal systems embedded into the 3-dimensional space. They build a universal Galois covering for finite hexagonal systems. The universal covering map is defined by the action of the fundamental group of the hexagonal system and this fundamental group is also the fundamental group of the CW-realisation of the hexagonal system. The authors plan to describe the general structure of finite hexagonal systems with boundary in forthcoming papers.
