Questions of asymptotic stability of a linear singularly perturbed system of differential equations with unbounded delay are studied. Sufficient conditions for regular degeneration of this system are found. As a main result it is proved that for any locally Lipschitz initial function the initial value problem for the system degenerates regularly.
