From the abstract: The authors characterize, in terms of differential equations, the quasi-Einstein metrics that are conformal to the pseudo-Euclidean metric. For a special non-Killing vector field, the system of equations reduces to an ordinary differential equation. An anologous problem is considered for locally conformally flat manifolds.
