The authors consider the stability of a neutral time-delay system. They use the combination of a Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and freeweighting matrices to obtain a new delay-dependent stability criterion in terms of a linear matrix inequality. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the adopted method.
