The authors consider a reaction-diffusion system of original farmers, converted farmers, and hunter-gathers. All three components follow a logistic growth while the growth rates of original and converted farmers are different. The conversion from hunter-gathers to converted farmers is assumed to be a mass-action function. Based on Schauder fixed point theorem, the authors establish the existence theory of traveling wave solutions for the model.
