The authors investigate the asymptotic properties of multiple orthogonal polynomials for two Pollaczek weights with different parameters. The set of weights is a Nikishin system that is generated by two measures, both with unbounded support, one of which is discrete. The (strong) asymptotic properties for these polynomials are derived by means of a matrix Riemann-Hilbert method.
