The following shape optimization problem is completely solved in this paper: find the planar domain of least area, among the sets with prescribed constant width and inradius. An explicit characterization of the minimizers is given for every choice of width and inradius. The uniqueness of the minimizer in the class of Reuleaux polygons is obtained, together with the minimal value of the area.
