In this paper, the authors discuss hysteresis transiting between different types of attractors. The subcritical Hopf bifurcation and a saddle-node bifurcation of limit cycles are discussed. The pertubation method is used for the normal form up to the fifth order. The time-delayed FitzHugh-Nagumo neural system is discussed as a sample problem. The results presented in this paper may help bursting oscillations.
