The author gives a simple proof of the equivalence of the \(L^p\)-Brunn-Minkowski inequality conjectured by Böröczky, Lutwak, Yang and Zhang in 2012--2013 to the local version of the inequality studied by Colesanti, Livshyts and Marsiglietti in 2017 and by Kolesnikov and Milman in 2017--2018. This is done by studying \(L^p\)-combinations of strongly isomorphic polytopes. The paper is very well explained, and no details are spared.
