The transmission of signals using frames is well established. The determination of the best frames for the transmission in the presence of erasures has been studied in deterministic and probabilistic models. In this paper, the authors introduce a new probabilistic model using Parseval frames. They show that their optimal Parseval frames give better performance than optimal frames of other models.
