The paper (in German) examines in detail Felix Hausdorff's unsuccessful emigration attempts from Nazi Germany to the USA after 1938 up to his death by suicide in 1942. It includes not much known details of his correspondence and other documents related to his attempts which failed in most part because of his advanced age. The paper is of interest for anyone wanting to know more about the scientific circumstances in the period 1938--1942 in Germany and the USA, and of course for those interested in less known details from Felix Hausdorff's biography.
