The article contributes to the study of strong proximities. That notion is characterized by a relation giving information about pairs of sets that have points in common. A result about second-countability of the strongly hit and far-miss topology on a family of subsets on the Lodato proximity space of regular open sets to which singletons are added is stated.NEWLINENEWLINEAfter a discussion of connections of their topic with descriptive proximities, the authors treat proximal and strongly proximal manifolds as well as strongly proximal Voronoï regions. The paper ends with a section on proximal Voronoï manifolds, atlases and charts.
