In the paper a field-theoretic approach for describing the critical behavior of nonextensive systems is introduced. Both universal static and dynamic nonextensive critical exponents are computed analytically for \(O(N)\) models, valid for all loop orders and \(|q-1| < 1\). A new universality class, the nonextensive \(O(N)_q\), is considered. The results for nonextensive \(2d\) Ising systems, are shown to be exact within the referred approximation, and to agree with that obtained from computer simulations, within the margin of error, as better as \(q\to 1\). The results show an interplay between global correlations and fluctuations.
