The authors introduce the concept of universal quantum linear semigroupoid by studying quantum symmetries of certain algebras (a prototypical example is a path algebra of finite quiver) which turn out to be isomorphic to a quotient of some path algebras. In the case when such algebra is not connected, they use coactions of weak bialgebras with commutative counital subalgebras, which are the same as face algebras. Moreover, such algebras are comodule algebras over certain weak bialgebra, allowing to get the main result (Theorem 1.8) the universal quantum linear semigroupoids introduced are isomorphic to Hayashi's face algebras as weak bialgebras. It is necessary the condition that the `base' of the weak bialgebra is isomorphic to the `base' of the comodule algebra.
