Interpretation of geometry on manifolds as a geometry in a space with projective metric (Q2674630)

The work of Thurston on 3-manifolds with a complete, locally homogeneous metric yields a famous list of 8 model geometries (see [\textit{P. Scott}, Bull. Lond. Math. Soc. 15, 401--487 (1983; Zbl 0561.57001)]). The authors describe some of these 8 geometries in terms of 3-dimensional vector spaces and projective metrics.
