The author states that one can construct an embedding of a manifold with heat kernels of the connection Laplacian that can be made arbitrarily close to an isometry. To do this, the author sets up a fundamental solution from scratch using the parametrix method and uses the techniques employed by \textit{J. W. Portegies} [Commun. Pure Appl. Math. 69, No. 3, 478--518 (2016; Zbl 1341.58022)].
