The motive of the article is to consider the Bézier variant of a sequence of operators involving inverse Pólya-Eggenberger distribution and Păltănea operators [\textit{R. Păltănea}, Carpathian J. Math. 24, No. 3, 378--385 (2008; Zbl 1249.41064)]. For these operators, authors estimate the approximation behaviour including frst and second-order modulus of smoothness. They establish the rate of convergence with a class of functions of derivatives of bounded variation.
