Stability of viscoelastic channel wall (English)
0 references
The authors consider the motion of ideal incompressible gas in a three-dimensional channel of rectangular cross-section. One of the channel walls is viscoelastic, and the pressure is given in channel input and output regions. The investigation of stability is carried out in a linear statement corresponding to small perturbations of homogeneous gas flow and small deflections of the viscoelastic channel wall. The authors use Lyapunov stability concept for dynamical systems, and describe the mechanical behaviour of material by the Volterra-Voigt constitutive equation.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0956.00026].
