A space \(X\) is homogeneous if for all \(x,y\in X\) for some homeomorphism \(h: X\to X\) we have \(h(x)=y\). In this paper the author presents a survey of known results on homogeneity and some of its generalizations. In addition, several interesting open problems on homogeneity are stated.
