Fundamentals of a generalized measure theory (English)
0 references
The authors give a unified overview of various approaches to fuzzy measure theory, including uncertainty measures on lattices and on De~Morgan algebras, plausibility measures, valuations, and measures on MV-algebras and on tribes of fuzzy sets. Representation theorems are summarized and conditions corresponding to classical \(\sigma\)-completeness are discussed. The paper is a unique collection of numerous results that have never been presented together, moreover in a style that admits an easy comparison. Thus it represents a very useful source for all experts dealing with some type of fuzzy measures.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0942.00008].
