Peculiarity of red blood cells motion in the narrow capillaries with regard to influence of electric charge of the cell (English)
0 references
The author studies the influence of electric charge and small surface potential on red blood cells and capillary walls for blood flows in capillaries. Numerical results are presented for the gradient of electric field, velocity of blood flow, pressure distribution in the gap between the wall of capillary and red blood cell, and for shear stress acting along the red blood cell surface.
