This booklet is proposed to present statistical methods by examples without mathematical poofs. The aim is the study of the methods obtained from the information by using the sample without the descriptive statistics supposed known. After the first two chapters on probability and distribution theory, a modern approach by the Bayesian theory is presented for the decisions taking into account the a priori information on the phenomena. The booklet is not intended to be an exhaustive statistical textbook, emphasizing nonparametric tests. Comparisons between the classical and the Bayesian approach to the decisions are made and the difference between them is pointed out.
