The authors compute the quasi-normal modes for the anti de-Sitter Schwarzschild black hole in five dimensions using a superpotential approach. The Schwarzschild black hole is perturbed by a minimaly coupled scalar field. The quasi-normal modes are obtained by a recursion relation. The result seems to converge in the frequency mode.
