Local densities of Hermitian forms (Q2704206)

The reduction formula for computing the local densities of Hermitian forms over a local field where the characteristic of the residue field \(\neq 2\) is given. The closed forms for some special cases are given which are already well-known. The recent work of \textit{Y. Hironaka} [Comment. Math. Univ. St. Pauli 49, 105-142 (2000; Zbl 1028.11022)] gives a complete result for local fields with odd residue characteristic.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0956.00036].
