Uncertain discrete-time variable structure control systems (English)

A discrete-time linear control system is considered in the presence of parameter uncertainties and unknown disturbances. These uncertainties and disturbances are regarded as an equivalent disturbance. A discrete variable structure control is proposed. Imposing a suitable condition on the considered equivalent disturbance, a robustness analysis of the obtained closed-loop system is presented. An illustrative example and the corresponding computer simulations, for which the imposed condition is satisfied (violated), are also shown.
