A modeling method for process systems and studies on the dynamical behavior (English)
0 references
Since process systems appear with some new characteristics compared with the traditional discrete-event systems (DES), the authors propose a new modeling method for process systems here. They extend the common timed-event-graph such that its capacity is better than the original one. Although its capacity is poorer than the common extended Petri nets, its system of linear algebraic equations is easily deduced and the dynamic behavior of the system can be studied with the lattice theory under the algebraic framework. An example for a process system is presented to illustrate the correctness of their method.
