The authors study the least normalized expression of a rational dioid and the operation method by which any rational dioid can be normalized. For describing the behaviour of a discrete event dynamic system by a rational dioid it is necessary to put forward a kind of least normalized expression. The annihilation of the dioid sum expression, the general algorithm of the sum expression for isoclinal dioids and the product of the star operation are also discussed.
