Decentralized stabilization of large-scale linear continuous time-delay systems (English)

The main idea of the paper is to improve conditions given by \textit{T. N. Lee} and \textit{U. L. Radovic} [General decentralized stabilization of large-scale linear continuous and discrete time-delay systems, Int. J. Control 46, 2127-2140 (1987; Zbl 0634.93062) and Decentralized stabilization of linear continuous and discrete-time systems with delays in interconnections, IEEE Trans. Autom. Control AC-33, 757-761 (1988; Zbl 0649.93055)] for decentralized stabilization of interconnected linear systems with delays in crosscouplings. The reasoning is based on the techniques of Lyapunov functionals, and the obtained results are less conservative than those in [loc. cit.]. The authors illustrate their methodology with a numerical example in which the obtained controller gain is lower than the one obtained by Lee and Radovic.
