Existence and properties of semidiscrete shock profiles for the isentropic gas dynamic system with \(\gamma=3\) (English)
0 references
The author considers shock profiles for a time-discrete scheme with a continuous space variable for \(\gamma=3\), which corresponds to the Brednier ``transport collapse method''. Basic properties of this scheme and the notion of asymptotic shock profile is defined, and it is shown that every asymptotic function is an equilibrium function constant with respect to the spatial variable. In addition, the author investigates properties of such profiles.
