About a category of canonical hypergroups (English)

The aim of this paper is to study the category of canonical hypergroups \(CH\) and the category of quasicanonical hypergroups \(QCH\) (the morphisms are the very good homomorphisms [for the basic definitions see \textit{P. Corsini}, Prolegomena of hypergroup theory, Aviani Editore (1993; Zbl 0785.20032)]). The author proves that: 1. \(CH\) is balanced, with images and coimages, with kernels and cokernels, normal and conormal, exact. 2. \(QCH\) and \(CH\) are categories with products.
