The author studies 2-harmonic isometric immersions from a Riemannian manifold \(M\) into a pseudo-Riemannian space form \(N\). Using moving frames, the author shows that \(N\) having constant curvature is a sufficient condition for the existence of a 2-harmonic map. The author also analyzes the mean curvature of an isometric harmonic map by a classification of the space-like submanifolds of a pseudo-Riemannian space form.
