This paper is devoted to an extension of the Delaunay variables to deal with perturbations of the isochrone model. The author constructs the variables with the goal of expressing the (unperturbed) isochrone potential in the easiest way. Using the extended Delaunay variables, the author reduces the perturbed isochrone potential by normalization. She illustrates her approach with four examples.
