Fuzzy and simulated annealing on site location problems (English)

The adaptation of the simulated annealing method to solving fuzzy optimization problems is summarized. The simulated annealing algorithm is then proposed as an appropriate tool for solving multiple objective fuzzy site location problems with fuzzy linear constraints. The objective functions of the problem are based on the so-called Manhattan distance as well as on the Euclidean distance function. The suggested method is explained on an illustrative example, in which the best location for two police stations within a city is to be found.
