Wellposedness of a structural acoustics model with point control (English)
0 references
The mathematical model in question is comprised of a wave equation coupled to a structurally damped beam equation with the coupling arising from boundary trace terms. NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEIt is known that there is a space \(X\) of initial data strictly contained in the basic energy space \(H\) of the structural acoustics model such that point observations of the wave velocity are justified for solutions of the structural acoustics model. NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEThe author proves that taking \(X\) as the state space, the controlled and observed structural acoustics model is well posed.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0956.00042].
