Remarks on quadrangle theory (English)

Based on well-known classifications for triangles, the author presents several classification schemes for convex 4-gons in the Euclidean plane (namely by ``sides and angles'', by ``diagonal parts and angles between diagonals'', and by symmetries). In a geometrically nice way, he derives characterizations of those types of 4-gons by which gaps in the schemes are obtained.
