Three-dimensional models for analysing deformations of slopes (English)
0 references
Using the theories of continuum mechanics, the author suggests the methods for deformation analysis that, at any time instant, allow to calculate shift, velocity and accelerations in any point of a slope. They are based on geodetic measurements at discrete points. Deformation measures such as expansion, shearing strain and rotation in an infinitesimal vicinity of these points can be estimated.
