The author, deputy science editor of the New York Times, did thorough research and mentions all his sources; among these are all the relevant archives. He was so filled with enthusiasm that he had tracked down every place where Albert and Mileva had lived, he had eaten cheap wurst in student-quater cafes as they must have done and so on. And, the author's enthusiasm is transmitted to the reader; it is a mere pleasure to read that book. And the information one gets is really excellent.
