Sharaf al-Din al-Tusi: mathematical works. Algebra and geometry in the 12th century (Q2709285)

An Arabic edition of the French work: Traité sur les Équations de Sharaf al-Din al-Ṭūssï, Oeuvres mathématiques. Algèbre et géométrie au \(\text{XII}^e\) siècle. Texte établi et traduit par Roshdi Rashed, Paris 1986. The Arabic text is naturally without translation, but the book contains the Arabic-French glossary of technical terms which gives the editor's interpretation of the meaning of these terms. The introduction, which comprises the bulk of the book, was translated by Dr. Nicola Fāris.
