Robust set-point constrained regulation via dynamic inversion (English)
0 references
A novel approach for the robust set-point regulation of a scalar system is presented. The control system design methodology involves the determination of both the feedback controller and the reference input. It consists of the traditional step at the input with a reference function calculated through a dynamic system inversion after a polynomial function is assigned to the output. The design of the feedback controller is greatly simplified and it is shown in an example that the new approach performs much better, in terms of the worst-case settling time, compared with the traditional design approach.
