The authors redefine the absolute value of a fuzzy real number and give some examples to show that the earlier definition [see \textit{N. R. Das}, \textit{P. Das} and \textit{A. Choudhury}, J. Fuzzy Math. 46, 421-433 (1996; Zbl 0858.46057)] is incomplete. Then, for a fuzzy normed linear space \((X,\|\cdot\|)\), they discuss the \(X\)-valued sequence space, especially the \(X\)-valued convergent sequence space \(c_F(x)\). Finally, they also point out two errors in earlier papers.
