The authors demonstrate the usefulness of two types of control mechanisms for the numerical integration of the wave propagation in the Maxwell system and in General Relativity using Ashtekar's connection variables. It is shown that these techniques called ``\(\lambda\) system'' (artificial flows of the constrained surfaces) and ``adjusted system'' (addition of constrained terms in the dynamical equations, and adjusting the multipliers) enable the stability of the test system against artificial errors.NEWLINENEWLINEFor Part I, cf. ibid. 17, 4799--4822 (2000; Zbl 0974.83003).
