The authors determine the loci \(L_t\), \(L_{at}\), \(L_{rt}\), and \(L_{ot}\) of all points for which the distances to the sides of a given triangle form a triangle, or an acute, right, or obtuse triangle, and show that of the 101 central points of a triangle listed in \textit{C. Kimberling} [Math. Mag. 67, No. 3, 163-187 (1994; Zbl 0821.51014)] only 8 lie in \(L_t\).
