This paper surveys known solution concepts for linear interval equations (solution set, tolerance solution, control solution, parametric solution) and some related topics (as enclosure, overestimation etc.). Although it does not bring new theoretical results, it can be recommended to anyone willing to get a quick grasp of basic ideas on solutions of linear equations with inexact data.
