This paper is aimed at the classification problem of stable associative multiplication in complex cobordism theory. This is reduced to the action of a Hopf algebra on the couple of its dual with a distinguished part corresponding to the complex cobordism of a point. The heart of the paper is concerned with the divided-difference operators introducing new associative multiplications. It contains enough examples to be clear. Then one finds applications.
